I think the new Fender 62's may be a little bit smoother and rounder in the low end than the stock Fender MIJ pickups that were in the bass, not sure yet. The most obvious noticeable difference is that the output of the Fender 62s is lower than the stock MIJ pickups that were already in the Bass not really a big deal though.
